The Piobaireachd Society presents a concert of piobaireachd — the classical music of the great Highland bagpipe — at The Concert Room. Performed by leading exponents Sean McKeown, Kyle Cameron, and Callum Wynd, the tunes are played in continuous fashion to create a unique musical experience. Most piobaireachd are composed using pentatonic scales or variations thereof, allowing a wide variety of tonal mood from the instrument's range.
