Helen Shapiro Walkin' Back traces the early life of UK singer Helen Shapiro, who by age 15 in 1961 had two number one singles selling 40,000 records a day. By 16 she had five top ten hits and toured the UK with The Beatles as her support. Kingdom Theatre Company brings this premiere to the Fringe with a talented young Scottish cast, weaving original songs alongside hits such as You Don't Know and Walkin' Back to Happiness to recreate the sound and spirit of the nineteen-sixties.
