We’re delighted to be back with a new show featuring some of the greatest music from the big band era. Our classic 17-piece big band orchestra will be playing a varied programme of jazz, swing and latin numbers, including a mix of classic big band and also more contemporary jazz arrangements to get your toes tapping. Vocalist Mary May joins us to perform some old favourites and also more modern arrangements of songs by the Carpenters and the Beatles amongst others.

Sound of Seventeen Big Band Bonanza! is a jazz and vocal concert from Sound of Seventeen Big Band, a semi-professional company performing at Church as part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The classic 17-piece big band orchestra plays a varied programme of jazz, swing and latin numbers, mixing classic big band with more contemporary jazz arrangements.
