About Pascol
Pascol – Vocal Performance is an experimental music show presented by Pascol at the Upper Theatre (Thrust) during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. Five vocalists transform personal stories shared by the audience into improvised compositions using only voice and physical expression — no instruments, no script. Each performance begins with an invitation for audiences to share a memory, which the ensemble then listens to, moves with and sings into a spontaneous one-of-a-kind composition. The show runs for 50 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 8 and over.
Why see this show?
A genuinely unrepeatable experience — five voices creating something live from whatever the room offers. Combining storytelling, improvisation and emotional resonance, Pascol makes the audience part of the work in a way that feels generous rather than demanding.
