Stunned by her husband's infidelity, Bea feels heartbroken and alone — unaware that her neighbours Sonia, Van and Ian are each also struggling with pain they cannot articulate. A mysterious figure named Lou may be the connection they all need. The show is a poignant and uplifting celebration of the power of sad music, drawing on Hank Williams, Orange Juice, Etta James, JS Bach and more.
