Scranton Fringe Festival and the New Vintage Ensemble present a theatrical remix in which a company of actors rehearse an adaptation of James Joyce's Ulysses — only to find the boundary between the text and their own lives dissolving. The voices and humour of Scranton, Pennsylvania blend with the Dublin of the early twentieth century, keeping the heartbeat of Joyce's novel while layering in contemporary stories. The result is described as fast-paced, funny and emotionally direct. Prior knowledge of the original book is not required.
