Nathan Jonathan performs this autobiographical solo show that blends vivid storytelling with sharp humour. Set around the turn of the millennium, a teenage boy is caught between two contrasting influences: a volatile father and a gentle Windrush-era grandfather. When he is uprooted to a working-class Northern town, he must quickly learn the rules of lad culture. The show explores boyhood, masculinity and the moments when young boys must decide what kind of men they will become. Runs 60 minutes at the Anatomy Lecture Theatre. Age guidance 16+, tickets £10.
