We have thrilled audiences around the world, but we feel especially at home here at the Fringe. Enjoy our unique blend of fiddles, flute, smallpipes, harp, concertina and percussion. We're renowned for bringing new pieces into the tradition and have worked with leading musicians such as Yehudi Menuhin and John Cage (our recording of his Scottish Circus is just out on Mode Records). About The Whistlebinkies

The Whistlebinkies bring their unique blend of fiddles, flute, smallpipes, harp, concertina and percussion to the Church venue at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The ensemble comprises Rab on lowland and smallpipes, Eddie on flute, Karen on harps, Anna Louise and Mark on violins, Peter on percussion, and Stuart on concertina. They have released albums on Greentrax, Claddagh and Mode Records and are known for bringing new pieces into the tradition, having worked with leading musicians including Yehudi Menuhin and John Cage.
