About GaggleHouse (Scotland)
GaggleHouse (Scotland) presents The Reunion, a drama-comedy from Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Mackenzie Millar has spent three years at University hiding the fact that he is on a scholarship and pretending he went to Eton. When his Dad arrives at his graduation with two tickets to the reunion of Oasis, the pair must make a hitchhiking journey from England to Scotland in two days. The road trip forces father and son to confront what it means to be working-class in a modern world. Running 50 minutes, suitable for ages 14+.
Why see this show?
A sharp, warm road-trip play about class, identity and the bonds between fathers and sons. The hitchhiking premise is a clever engine for two characters who can no longer dodge the conversations they have been avoiding.
