Dr Rachel Salzano from Edinburgh Napier University asks whether libraries are still quiet places, what communities think about sound in public libraries, and what people really want to hear there. Dr Hailey Austin from Abertay University then reveals how nude photography and erotic pulp magazines from the nineteenth century and early twentieth century shaped iconic superhero characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man, and influenced their costumes.
