Google The ProvocateursAbout The Provocateurs
The Provocateurs presents two spoken word talks at Stand 2. Dr Adrianna Zabrzewska of Edinburgh Napier University examines what happens when vulnerability, so often celebrated in TED talks and philosophy as the key to empathy and courage, is instead exploited for political gain. Professor Alan Gow of Heriot-Watt University then explores brain health, looking at the lifestyles and environments that can help stack the odds in favour of staying brain healthy as we age. Together the two talks offer stimulating, evidence-informed perspectives on the human condition.
Why see this show?
Two sharp, thought-provoking talks in one hour — one on the political weaponisation of vulnerability, one on actively protecting your brain health. Ideal for curious minds who like their Fringe evening to leave them with something to think about.
