Nordic Voices Norway, a Norwegian a cappella sextet, returns to Edinburgh after an absence of 31 years for a concert marking the seven hundred and fortieth anniversary of Margaret's accession as Maid of Norway and Queen of Scots. The programme is structured in three parts: anonymous sacred music from Scotland and Norway associated with the medieval period, followed by music by named Scottish and Norwegian composers from a later era, and finally new music by Nordic Voices themselves inspired by the Maid of Norway. The concert is performed in the Church, runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and above.
