The Girls Who Made Us is a new play by Inherits Her Flame Theatre Company, a student and youth company, performing at the Haldane Theatre. When five girls lose their Auntie Jane, they discover a box of memories that reveals how Jane met each of their mothers and the lifelong bonds they formed. Through multi-rolling, the performers bring their mothers' journeys to life, exploring resilience, sacrifice and identity. As past and present intertwine, the girls confront what it means to grow up as women today — a heartfelt celebration of survival, friendship and the quiet victories that define who we become.
