The Distance is a 65-minute new writing physical theatre show at the Main Hall, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, from Global Creative, Grace Dickson Productions and Nic Doodson Productions. When the football pitch freezes, Chris is forced into cross-country running — and something in him ignites. Written by former GB athlete Ben Norris and directed by Julia Locascio, the show is described as part play, part extreme workout: a sweat-drenched exploration of ambition, identity and letting go.
