Potomac Theatre presents this heartfelt musical comedy at the Auditorium over 90 minutes. The show follows an eclectic group of six tweens competing for the spelling bee championship of a lifetime. During the competition, each speller candidly discloses hilarious and touching stories from their home life, navigating their own way through a series of words while dreading the soul-crushing ding of the bell that signals elimination. Eight spellers enter; one winner emerges. At least the losers get a juice box.
