Swing Gum tells the true love story of American soldier KT Robbins and French villager Jeannine Ganaye, who fell for one another in wartime Meurthe-et-Moselle in 1944 before being separated by deployment. Seventy-five years later, they were reunited in an emotional television broadcast. Making its UK debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, this vibrant musical is performed by Martin's Tap Dance Company, blending tap, body percussion, swing, Lindy hop, jive and archival footage into a humorous and heartfelt celebration of enduring love.
