About Sundown Swing

Sundown Swing is a 16-piece big band performing at the Church during Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The 60-minute show features well-known big band instrumental and vocal favourites from the nineteen-twenties onward, with a particular focus on the big band era of the nineteen-thirties and nineteen-forties — swing, Latin music and classics associated with the great band leaders of that period. Suitable for all ages, dancing in the aisles is welcomed.
