Yuerge Dance Theatre and Shanghai International Dance Center Theater present a contemporary dance-theatre adaptation of Pu Songling's celebrated seventeenth-century Chinese ghost-story collection. In a dreamlike nocturnal world where humans, foxes and spirits intertwine, the production explores greed, violence, obsession and the shifting boundary between the human and the supernatural. Haunting choreography, visual storytelling and surreal theatrical imagery bring the ghostly literary universe to life in a sensuous and psychologically layered production. Runs 60 minutes at the Main House. Age guidance 12+.
