Spare Room is a 55-minute dark comedy and new writing piece by Blue Duck Theatre Company, performed at Space 1. Inspired by true events, the play follows Jodie as she takes the plunge and applies for a room in a house share. Confronted with the unexpected world of chunder charts and tangible testosterone, this was not the fresh start she imagined. Entirely set in a student living room, the show immerses audiences in the lives of badly behaved twenty-somethings, offering an honest insight into masculinity, mental health and consent. The show is suitable for audiences aged 16 and over.
