Sonder is a short play by Queen Mary's Theatre Company, performed at Theatre 2. Taking its name from the realisation that every random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, the play explores lived human experience and the discovery of a profound feeling — one in which we appreciate others as equals and fellow main characters rather than side characters in our own story. Set on a shared train ride, the play presents stories of people at different points in their journeys, showing how everyone's path is the same yet so vastly different.
