About Nus Duo
Sobremesa – Where Words and Music Meet at the Table is a multidisciplinary performance by Nus Duo at Alba Flamenca. Inspired by the Spanish tradition of lingering at the table in conversation long after a meal, audiences create their own literary menu from a selection of Spanish and Latin American texts, each paired with a surprise musical response. Performed by flute and guitar, the show blends folk and classical music, from Bach to Flamenco and beyond. Each 60-minute evening becomes a unique journey shaped by the audience, who are invited to stay after the performance to share thoughts. The show is suitable for ages 8 and over. Tickets are £12.
Why see this show?
No two evenings are the same — the audience chooses the literary texts and the music responds in kind, performed live on flute and guitar from Bach to Flamenco. A genuinely interactive and unhurried evening where conversation continues after the curtain.
