About Skyrie
Skyrie is a three-piece Celtic folk band comprising versatile composers and multi-instrumentalists Lesley Thompson-Smith, Jimmy Anderson and Christopher Smith. Having performed and recorded over many years with artists as diverse as Dougie Maclean, Garbage's Shirley Manson, Big Country and Kathy Mattea, the band has honed their style through hundreds of gigs and sessions. Their latest album, Hunger Road, is described as a masterpiece to be sung, played and remembered. The show runs for 60 minutes at the Main Room and is suitable for ages 8 and over.
