About Ask A Stripper
Ask A Stripper is a semi-professional company presenting Shadowbanned at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Stacey Clare returns to Edinburgh with a motley crew of unionised sex workers who have taken matters into their own manicures by starting a worker-led residency. The show runs for 150 minutes every Friday night of Fringe at the Keller Taproom, featuring performances from strippers — among the most shadow-banned people on the internet. The premise explores what a queer, left-wing, worker-led strip club might look like when exploitative bosses and gross customers are removed from the equation.
Why see this show?
If you've ever wondered what happens when workers run the show themselves, this riotous residency puts that question centre stage. A genuine late-night Fringe experience that is unlike anything else on the programme — bold, politically charged and deliberately provocative.
