A pastor and a prostitute walk into a bar... three years later they’ve written a show about their unlikely love story built upon polyamorous throuples, magic truffles and the bursting of religious bubbles. He was a married, conservative, protestant pastor with a tight foreskin. She’s a pansexual, polyamorous performer offering tantric massages on an escort website. Join a pair of ADHD hippies over-sharing a true story of undergoing a cliche spiritual awakening, healing from religious trauma and mental ill health while exploring society's stigmas around sex, drugs and new age consciousness.

About the show

Cognitive Behavioural Theatre brings this true-story show to CC Blooms as part of PBH's Free Fringe. A pastor and a prostitute walked into a bar — and several years later they wrote a show about their unlikely love story. He was a married, conservative, protestant pastor; she is a pansexual, polyamorous performer offering tantric massages. Together, two self-described ADHD hippies share a candid account of polyamorous throuples, magic truffles, religious trauma, mental ill health and a spiritual awakening. Admission is free. Age guidance is 16 and over. Content warnings include distressing themes, scenes of a sexual nature and strong language.

Why see this show?

A genuine true-life story told without filter — two people from completely opposite worlds who fell into each other's orbit and wrote a show about it. Frank, funny, and genuinely unlike anything else on the programme.
