Uliana Klimchuk and Lily Afghani present Seledka, a one-woman political satire at The Snug as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In the name of Russia, the character Seledka and his new troupe arrive with the goal of making sure his soldiers eat, sleep and bleed Soviet. But the meeting is hijacked by young Ukrainian women recounting tales from the war. The show asks who is entitled to claim ownership of a country, and how different any of us are from those fighting for their freedom. Running 55 minutes, suitable for ages 12 and over. Contains audience participation, distressing themes and strong language.
