Richard Demarco CBE and Edinburgh-based journalist Roddy Martine present Demarco's Europe, the third of a trilogy published by Luath Press, dedicated to the importance of Scotland's ongoing cultural engagement with continental Europe. Demarco, who has attended every Edinburgh Festival since its inception in 1947, makes the case that there is no such thing as Scottish art — only art in Scotland which is part of a European tradition. This 60-minute talk at Hall explores what art can offer in a time of existential threats.
