Scaramouche Jones is a solo show at Bijou in which writer-performer Justin Butcher traces the odyssey of a centenarian clown through crumbling empires, comic misadventures, the darkest episodes of the twentieth century, and the loves, brutalities and tragedies beneath seven white masks. Directed by Guy Masterson, the production features haunting evocative designs and conjures a world of indelible images. This is the twenty-fifth anniversary season of the piece. The show runs for 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and over.
