About Molly Windust
Rockpools is a darkly funny one-woman play by actor and comedian Molly Windust, performed at Bunker Three during Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Woman at the centre of the story is unhappily married and harbouring a huge secret. When her in-laws suddenly die, she struggles with her grieving husband and begins hoarding seaside-themed objects in Room Number 4 — taxidermy seals, shells and quite a few fish. As the room fills up, her marriage disintegrates and she must confront a loss of her own. The show touches on hoarding, loss and endometriosis.
Why see this show?
A debut play that manages to be both hilarious and poignant — Molly Windust finds something genuinely moving in the absurdity of a room filling up with taxidermy seals. A sharp new voice in theatre and comedy.
