Google Feuille Dooley ProductionsAbout the show
Feuille Dooley Productions present this verbatim drama written by Stan Zimmerman, the writer of Golden Girls and Gilmore Girls. The play uses real suicide notes from celebrities, veterans, bullied teens, those identifying as LGBTQ+, and people who have survived attempts, to highlight the raw struggles of people who have died by suicide. Featuring a rotating cast including Wendie Malick, Emily Kuroda, Iz Hesketh and others, the show is followed by a conversation between cast and audience. It contains very heavy themes throughout.
Why see this show?
Verbatim theatre at its most purposeful — real words, real people, real loss — followed by a conversation rather than simply letting the audience disperse. A serious and necessary piece of work for those who feel ready for it.
