Queer Diary, produced by Queer Diary CIC and the Free Festival, is a comedy show in which LGBTQIA+ Fringe performers read their real teenage diaries, angsty poetry, thirsty fan fiction and terrible Tumblr posts. Hosted by Beth Watson, the show features a different line-up of queer performers every night sharing hilariously cringe-but-true tales from their coming-of-age years. The show takes place at the Garden Room and includes light, volunteer-only audience interaction.
Why see this show?
Real diaries, real mortification, real community — a rotating line-up means every performance is different. Beth Watson's hosting keeps the energy warm and the laughs genuine. An accessible entry point for LGBTQIA+ comedy at the Fringe.
