About Minyoung Kim
PLASTIC is a solo project by Minyoung Kim, a composer and soloist from Seoul. She combines the geomungo — a traditional Korean string instrument — with jeongga, traditional Korean singing based on poetry, and electronic music. The show explores the contradictions of human beings: their fragility and immense potential, offering a modern and updated version of traditional Korean music accompanied by psychedelic projection. It runs for 60 minutes at the Anatomy Lecture Theatre and is suitable for audiences aged 8 and above.
