Tonight's programme at Main Church Sanctuary spans classical and contemporary repertoire: Monti's Czardas for violin with soloist Finlay Rutherford, Haydn's Trumpet Concerto second movement with soloist Joe Rogers, Sibelius's Finlandia, Britten's Sentimental Sarabande from Simple Symphony for String Orchestra, and Brahms' Symphony No 1 fourth movement, rounding off with Hoedown, A Touch of Jazz, Into the Storm, Opening Night, and Loch Lomond.
