About Double Edge Drama
Pecking Order is an absurdist devised theatre show by Double Edge Drama, performed at the Big Belly, Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show follows a man who enters a waiting room with no memory — only the overwhelming feeling that he must speak to someone, and soon. This scenario repeats, in a series of bizarre encounters that confront the feeling of being ostracised by those you'd least expect. The production features five actors, two puppets and an ostrich, alongside dance breaks, custard creams, a bikini wax, sassy receptionists and a great deal of confetti. The show runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 12 and over.
