Book NowAbout the show
Overtone is a new play about love and getting older, from Fringe First award-winning theatre-maker Tom Brennan of The Wardrobe Ensemble. Two teenagers meet after choir practice and begin the most important relationship of their lives — but the play follows them across years, exploring the adventures they were promised, the choices they think they made, and the cost of finally being honest. Presented by The North Wall, a double Fringe First award-winner known for Brown Boys Swim. Running 60 minutes at Jack Dome, for audiences aged 14 and above. Contains distressing themes, strong language and references to abuse and coercion.
Why see this show?
A quietly ambitious new play that takes the ordinary moment of two teenagers meeting and traces where it leads — told with the honesty and craft you would expect from a Fringe First pedigree. Intimate, funny and unflinching.
