About the show
Night of the Fox is a new drama by Aquila Youth Theatre, performed at the Lower Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Attie cannot stop dreaming of a fox-masked truth-teller who lives deep in the woods — a mysterious figure said to reveal who you really are. When Attie dares to summon him and he vanishes, his friends follow him into the forest, hoping to bring him home. But the deeper they go, the more they face painful truths. In a place where every truth must be spoken aloud, saving Attie may come at a cost. The 55-minute show is suitable for audiences aged 8 and over.
Why see this show?
A youth company tackles a genuinely compelling premise: a fox-masked truth-teller in the woods who reveals who you really are. Night of the Fox is new writing with an eerie, folkloric pull and real questions about friendship, identity and what it costs to be honest.
