Nearlyweds – The Musical is a brand-new musical comedy by Jaz Alice Music, written by Jasmine Alice, performed at theSpace @ Venue 45 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We follow Lily, a people-pleasing Scottish bride who runs away from her wedding, and Jake, a confused fiancé-to-be whose life isn't as glamorous as he thinks. Along the way they meet an array of relatably quirky and vibrant characters with hilarious scenarios to overcome. Will Lily learn to stand up for herself, and will Jake finally stop spouting awful puns? Extremely lovable characters and way too many dad jokes.
