Moth and Dog Are Dying to Get Out is a two-hander from STAAT Productions that blends searing dialogue, physical theatre, techno soundscapes and fragmented, time-jumping storytelling. Moth and Dog have only ever known each other inside, a place where they have grown, laughed, cried and hidden themselves — until now. The show explores queer desire, masculinity, and navigating intimacy and early adulthood during times of crisis. It was officially selected for the National Student Drama Festival at Curve Theatre Leicester. The show runs for 60 minutes at the venue known as the Dome and carries multiple content warnings including mental health, homophobia, illness, the pandemic and references to drug use.
