About BIGHEAD Comedy
BIGHEAD Comedy presents Maya Ricote's debut clown spectacle at the Cellar — a Latin-melodramatic-soap-opera slash camp musical from a Mexican/Venezuelan-American telenovela actress turned clown. Cryogenically preserved and freshly defrosted, the passionate Latina with dangerous curves is finally ready to perform her show for you. Co-created with clown musician Dan Lees, the show features audience participation and strong language. Billing herself as the Queen of Wails, Ricote brings a charismatic, high-energy performance to the Fringe.
Why see this show?
A debut clown spectacle that is genuinely unlike anything else at the Fringe — part telenovela, part camp musical, all charisma. If you enjoy performance that wears its heart loudly on its sleeve and is entirely unafraid to be ridiculous, this is the show for you.
