Maestro! is an experimental concert-play presented by Fringe Classics at St Vincent's, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. Pianist Matthew Leigh Shiel — who has collaborated with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Marine Band Scotland and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Al Jazeera — collaborates with playwright Alastair Sim, an actor, novelist and fellow of the RSA. Together they bring Beethoven's iconic piano pieces, including Moonlight Sonata and Symphony No 5, to life across 60 minutes of drama and music. Tickets are £19.50 (£14.50 concession). Suitable for audiences aged 8 and over.
