About the show
Studio 919 DC present a modern absurdist adaptation of Macbeth in which the character is no longer a figure from history but an embodiment of the human condition — someone who could be your neighbour. He kills for power, seeks escape in potions and chooses his mother's early death. Lady Macbeth is clearer-headed but unable to flee. Three pairs of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth mutate across time and space, performed by just two actors playing six souls. The show runs 50 minutes at Theatre 1, age guidance 14 and over, described as lasting Fifty minutes.
