Louise: The Last Dance is a solo multidisciplinary performance by Saint Stella Productions combining live dance, projection and theatre. Set in Paris in 1928, it opens with Louise Weber — the woman who invented the cancan, seduced princes and made the Moulin Rouge famous — shuffling out of a caravan in a slum market. Toulouse-Lautrec painted her; journalists destroyed her; no one let her speak. Until now. Described as loud, queer and working class, this show reclaims Louise Weber's story on her own terms. Runs 50 minutes at the Ivy Studio, suitable for ages 14 and over.
