About Leo Hincks
Leo Hincks is a 22-year-old comedian and actor who returns to Edinburgh Fringe after a self-described career-altering loss at the Chortle Student Comedy Award Finals in 2024. In Emotional Cowboy, he attempts to perform a brilliant debut show — but quickly realises he may have bitten off more than he can chew. As reality falls apart around him, the audience is whisked through his dreams, nightmares and notes app. To find more material, Leo must face his darkest fears and have a showdown with his greatest enemy: himself. Running for 60 minutes at Turret, the show contains strobe lighting and strong language.
Why see this show?
A debut show built around the very real anxiety of doing a debut show — Leo Hincks turns the pressure of Edinburgh into the material, blending comedy and theatre in a way that feels personal and unguarded. Sixteen and over.
