LANDSFRAU is a theatre performance by Doris Crea Collective, performed by Mariann Yar, at TechCube 0. When the last plane left Kabul in 2021, Afghanistan vanished from Ariana's reach. The return of the Taliban and the withdrawal of western troops triggers an autofictional reckoning with war, memory and responsibility. Onstage, Ariana dismantles images of Afghanistan and builds her own counter-archive of family history, imagined pasts, longing and rage. Afghan folk music collides with electronic beats; Attan meets contemporary dance. Through a feminist lens, the performance confronts the quiet guilt of living safely abroad. The show runs 60 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 12 and over.
