About Jo Griffin
Jo Griffin brings this work-in-progress show to Buttercup, digging up old ghosts before planning the future. As the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, the show explores nineties sex education, holiday packages to Magaluf, MILFs, MPs and more. Griffin has been seen on Channel 4 and Dave, and has been nominated for the BBC New Comedy and Funny Women Awards. Her previous Edinburgh show, directed by Chloe Petts, went on to sell out London's Soho Theatre. She giggs alongside Ed Gamble, Sara Pascoe, Dylan Moran and Jamali Maddix.
Why see this show?
A fast-rising comedian in full WIP mode — messy, honest and confidently funny. If her previous Edinburgh run is any guide, you're catching something that will be much harder to get a ticket for very soon. Personal, pointed and built on a foundation of genuine comic skill.
