About the show
Jack Skipper went from carpet-fitter to full-time stand-up without gaining any qualifications along the way. His show offers an honest look at the endeavours of a working-class father navigating life with wit and no safety net. He has appeared on BBC One's Live at the Apollo and toured in support of Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee, and Josh Widdicombe. The show was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award and won Best Debut Show at Leicester Comedy Festival in the year previously.
Why see this show?
Grounded, honest stand-up from a working-class comedian who has earned his place on the Fringe the hard way. Warm, funny, and refreshingly unpolished in the best sense.
