Wuji Dance Company presents a contemporary dance performance exploring the subtle process of shedding imposed identities and social expectations. On stage at temple, garments such as stiff-collared shirts, structured workwear and cinched dresses become visible markers of internalised discipline and expectation. Through shared movement and interaction, the 30-minute work traces a journey from unconscious endurance, to the awakening of discomfort, to collaborative acts of removal, and finally to the emergence of authentic selves.
