Fringe Classics presents an evening of Scottish traditional music by candlelight at St Vincent's, featuring Scots traditional pianist Matthew Leigh Shiel and his acclaimed Lowlands folk band. The programme includes haunting Hebridean Gaelic folk songs, rousing pipe marches and furious fiddles. Matthew is joined by Robert Burns' official pipe major and Scotland's finest singers and instrumentalists from Celtic Connections and BBC Proms. The evening features a rendition of The Corries' Flower of Scotland and Wild Mountain Thyme, running for 60 minutes.
