About Grandma Girls
Holmes/Shah is a satirical one-act play by Grandma Girls following two infamous figures — disgraced biotech entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes and shamed reality star Jen Shah — as they team up to scam their way out of Bryan Federal Prison. Bonded over their love of motherhood, business and delusions of grandeur, they must convince the Warden to approve their convoluted plan for early release. Will Jen make it back for BravoCon? Will Elizabeth accidentally invent a sequel to her discredited enterprise? The show is raucous, earnest and runs for 35 minutes.
Why see this show?
A sharp comic premise that mines two of the most audacious true-crime stories of recent memory for laughs. Grandma Girls play it with genuine warmth beneath the satire, giving this brief, punchy comedy more heart than you might expect.
