Giants is an exhibition presented by National Museums Scotland, originally from the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, at Exhibition Gallery 1. Through life-sized three-dimensional sculptures, skeletons, fossils and hands-on experiences, visitors can discover ten enormous but often overlooked giant creatures. The exhibition introduces the largest land mammal ever to walk the Earth, the largest shark to have swum the oceans, and Titanoboa cerrejonensis, the world's largest ever snake. Suitable for ages 5 and over, the exhibition runs for 60 minutes.
