About Stramash
Stramash is a lively live music venue and sports bar in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, housed within the grand former Free Cowgate Church in the Cowgate. Every day of the Fringe, live bands take to the stage with completely free entry. The daily lineup opens with The Daily Ceilidh — traditional Scottish dance music — before moving through folk, rock, ska, funk, pop, classic rock and indie rock cover bands. It is a proper Edinburgh Fringe institution with a massive, welcoming atmosphere.
